Book: Architecture of Justice: A Pictorial Walk-through of the Supreme Courts and High Courts of India released by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi
The book is a one of its kind, never before seen photographic rendition of the Supreme Court of India, the 24 High Courts and its 12 benches.
The book is a sequel to Vinay Thakur earlier book ‘The Courts of India: Past to Present’ (2016).

Admiral Sunil Lanba releases book titled ‘Blue Waters Ahoy’
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba has released a book 'Blue Waters Ahoy', chronicling the history of Indian Navy from 2001-2010.
The unveiling was part of Navy Day reception at the Navy House in presence of President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.
The book has been authored by Vice Admiral Anup Singh.
Vice Admiral Anup Singh is retired Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Naval Command in 2011.

Ministry of Home Affairs released a booklet titled “A Handbook for Students on Cyber Safety” to create awareness among teenagers about online Crimes and Threats
The book explains the various kinds of Cyber-crimes like identity theft, job fraud, email spoofing and how children can overcome them.
The booklet also address the problems associated with increased use of smartphones, Social Media, Online gaming.
As per the directions of Supreme court of India, MHA last year set up a Cyber and Information Security Division (C&IS) to check the rapid growth of cyber-crimes and cyber threats.

Books ''The Republican Ethic'' and ''Loktantra ke Swar'' Released
The Vice President of India Shri M.Venkaiah Naidu released Compilation of Selected speeches of the President, Ram Nath Kovind titled, “The Republican Ethic” in English and “Loktantra ke Swar” in Hindi at a function in Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
Both the books- The Republican Ethic & Loktantra ke Swar are a collection of President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind’s selected speeches made by him in the first year of assuming the office. The event has been organized by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.

The book, 'Of Counsel: The Challenges of the Modi-Jaitley Economy' written by former chief economic adviser Arvind Subramanian was launched in Mumbai
In the book Mr. Subramanian has provided with an inside account of his rollercoaster journey as the CEA from 2014 to 2018, succeeding Raghuram Rajan as captain of the ship.

Merriam-Webster Selects ‘Justice’ as Its 2018 Word of the Year.
As per Merriam-Webster, the word ''Justice'' is used in many phrases like racial justice, social justice and obstruction of justice
Already the word follows ''toxic'', picked by Oxford Dictionaries, and ''misinformation'', plucked by Dictonary.com as their 2018 word of the year.

PM releases book on renowned cartoonist R.K. Laxman
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a book “Timeless Laxman”, based on the life and times of legendary cartoonist, the late R.K. Laxman
The book has been penned by cartoonist’s daughter-in-law Usha Srinivas Laxman.

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh released his book titled "Changing India" at an event in New Delhi.
In the book, the Congress leader narrated his journey from an economist to a politician and shared anecdotes from his life.
It is a set of 5 volumes having a compilation of speeches and writings:
First: India’s Export Trends and the Prospects for Self-Sustained Growth’,
Second: ‘Thoughts on Trade and Development’.

 The book focuses on challenges faced by farmers, labourers, student and teachers in villages across the country.

Centre brings booklet on cyber safety for school children
The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has released a booklet titled “A Handbook for Students on cyber Safety” to inform the school children about the different aspects of cyber safety
The booklet aims to create awareness among citizens especially students about cyber threats and provides details about the various safeguards that can be adopted by the children in order to protect themselves from cyber grooming
The booklet also deals with the problem of cyber bullying, identity theft, cyber grooming, email fraud & job fraud and guides the citizens about the various safeguards to avoid such threats
