The book titled  Hemant Karkare: A Daughter’s Memoir  was released. The book is authored by Karkare's daughter Jui Karkare. The book narrates Hemant Karkare's journey. It talks about how he molded himself to become ATS Chief. The book brings life to a stalwart of the Indian Police Service (IPS) who was well-respected for his immaculate and noteworthy professionalism.

Authored by former Australian cricket umpire Simon Taufel “Finding The Gaps: Transferable Skills to Be the Best You Can Be” the book speaks of ways of sharing those lessons and transferable soft skills that can be applied to anyone or in any vocation. Taufel is known for his accuracy and extreme fitness.

Ranjan Gogoi, Chief Justice of India (CJI) released the Assamese version of the book "Courts of India Past and Present" in Guwahati. The book captures the historical developments that took place in the history of India's courts and narrates the various and important historical events of the court.

Madhuri Vijay for her novel’ The Far Field’ won the 2019 JCB Prize for Literature. Sir Mark Tully announced the winner on social media in a live broadcast. JCB Prize for Literature award established in 2018. It is an Indian literary award. Prize money of Rs.25 lakh is awarded to a distinguished work of fiction by an Indian writer working in English or translated fiction by an Indian writer.
