Sudha Menon’s Book “Feisty At Fifty” Released
The book “Feisty At Fifty” authored by Sudha Menon, was released at the Pune International Literary Festival.
The book has been published by Pan Macmillan India. It will be available in bookstores from October 22, 2018. The books speaks about different phases of a woman’s life.
Sudha Menon has also written the following books: Leading Ladies: Women Who Inspire India, and Devi, Diva or She-Devil: The smart career woman’s survival guide.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor introduced his new book ''The Paradoxical Prime Minister'' and a 29-letter word ''floccinaucinihilipilification''.
Shashi Tharoor has described his new book on Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “more than just a 400-page exercise in floccinaucinihilipilification”.
Oxford dictionary states the meaning of floccinaucinihilipilification as “the action or habit of estimating something as worthless”.
The cover of the book shows Prime Minister Narendra Modi examining a wax figure of himself at Madame Tussauds museum. The book is available on Amazon for pre-order.
Shashi Tharoor is a second-term parliamentarian from Thiruvananthapuram constituency. He has served as Under-Secretary General in the United Nations.

Bihar Diputy CM releases a book “Lalu Leela” on scams by Lalu Prasad
Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Modi released a nearly 200-page book titled 'Lalu-Leela', which documents alleged illegal dealings by RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family members.
The book describes Lalu's journey from a student leader of Patna University to the CM of Bihar and the alleged scams and wealth he amassed through improper means during the period.

Vice Prez releases biography of Anumolu Ramakrishna
Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu released a biography of late Anumolu Ramakrishna, a pioneer in the application of innovative systems and construction techniques in the Indian construction sector.
The biography titled 'Building a Legacy' is authored by Chartered Accountant V. Pattabhi Ram. Ramakrishna was posthumously awarded Padma Bhushan in 2014.

A new book on Maharana Pratap named “Maharana Pratap: The Invincible Warrior” authored by historian Rima Hooja has been released.
The book narrates the life of Maharana Pratap, the great Rajput warrior and also talks about the famous battle of Haldighati.

Stephen Hawking’s final book “Brief Answers to the Big Questions” launchedi.
It has been completed by the theoretical physicist’s family and academic colleagues, with material drawn from his vast personal archive.
It tackles various issues including existence of God , potential time travel and human intelligence during the next 100 years.

Statistician Vijayan Bala comes up with new book
Veteran commentator and cricket statistican Vijayan Bala has come up with his new book "Indian Sports: Conversations and Reflections", a compilation of interviews of eminent sportspersons he has conducted since 1971.
The 68-year-old Bala, who has also been a member of BCCI's Statistical Committee apart from being an English teacher, has interviewed Olympians like Balbir Singh Senior, Abhinav Bindra, Sushil Kumar, Sakshi Malik, Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore to name a few.

Biography of Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is now available in Hindi.
'Yoddha Yogi: Yogi Adityanath Ki Jeevan Yatra', was released at a function organized at historic Central Hall of UP Vidhan Bhawan by Governor of Uttar Pradesh Ram Naik and Speaker H.N. Dikshit. The book is written by Pravin Kumar, Deputy Resident Editor, Times of India, Lucknow.
